Seattle engineered a remarkable fightback to defeat the Rams in extra time, securing their place in the postseason.
Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad emerged victorious 38-37 at home, notching their fifth straight victory.
While the Rams had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.
With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference race with a twelve and three mark, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an 11-4 record.

Rams defensive back Wallace then took back Darnold's initial interception for 56 yards, leading to a short touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.
In the fourth quarter, a touchdown from Stafford to Nacua pushed the advantage to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed ignited the hope with a 58-yard return for a score.
Darnold then found AJ Barner in the end zone, and a successful conversion forced the game into an extra period.
Although Puka Nacua raced in for his another TD in OT, Jaxon Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the decisive score.
